Dunstable roar back to hammer Hatfield

A super second half show saw Dunstable Town retain top spot in the Molten Spartan SML Premier Division with a 6-1 thrashing of Hatfield Town at a windswept Gosling Stadium on Saturday.

A stuttering first half performance had seen the Blues fall behind on 11 minutes through Shane Wood’s deflected own goal.

A half-time roasting saw Town roar back to seal victory with six unanswered second half goals from Tony Burnett, Wood, Lee Roache (2), substitute Nathan Frater and Danny Hutchins.

Tonight (Tuesday) Dunstable are due to host Berkhamsted.
