The 22-year-old made 57 appearances for the Hatters, scoring three times, but was released by boss Nathan Jones after spending the majority of last season out on loan with Kidderminster, Grimsby and Woking.

Robinson joins Elliot Justham and Curtley Williams in joining former Town manager John Still, now in charge of Dagenham, and speaking to the club’s official website, the Daggers chief said: “Matt was a player I didn’t want to push too hard when I arrived at Luton as he was only 18 but he still played a lot of the games in their title season.

“He had a good season last term but he didn’t want to stay so I was straight in for him when he left Luton.

“He works hard with good energy and I look forward to working with him at Dagenham.”
