Dunstable currently sit third in the Southern Premier Division, whilst Chesham are 19th, but have a massive six games in hand over their visitors.

Fontenelle said: “They’ve got one of the most amount of games in the league to play and once they start getting some results, they’ll push up.

“If they won all their games in hand, I think they would only be three points behind us, so it isn’t going to be an easy game.”

If the Blues win the clash, that was supposed to be played at the beginning of January, it could see them move to within three points of top spot.

But Fontenelle is happy to see that his players know they need to keep their heads down in order to stay where they are in the table.

He added: “I think the lads are realistic, I’ve got an honest bunch of lads so I don’t think I really need to keep their feet on the ground.”
