In the second period, Green drew level on 77 minutes when Sean Downey’s flick-on saw O’Donnell fire past Craig Lewis.

Potton’s Callum Forster had a shot saved by Dean Bull, while the visitors’ Nick Finney cannoned a long ranger against the bar.

Lewis then made an oustanding save to deny Mark Smith, but the ball fell to Downey and his cross was fired home by O’Donnell.

Crawley travel to Wodson Park this weekend.

Meanwhile, Green’s reserves continued their 100 per cent start with a 5-2 win against Langford.

New signing Charlie Clayton netted a hat-trick on his debut, Anthony Wright and Nathan Osborn also scored.
