Football teams set to get back into action after washed out weekend

The wet weather wrecked the local football scene at the weekend.

Dunstable Town’s game at Beaconsfield SYCOB and Barton Rovers’ match at Uxbridge in Calor Southern League Division One Central were postponed because of waterlogged pitches, while the entire Molten Spartan SML schedule was cancelled.

Crawley Green are set to Langford in SML Division One on Wednesday night,

On Saturday Barton host North Greenford United and Dunstable entertain St Ives Town, while in the SML Premier Division AFC Dunstable head to London Tigers, Crawley Green go to Buckingham Athletic in Division One, in Division Two Kent Athletic host Pitstone & Ivinghoe, Totternhoe visit New Bradwell St Peter and The 61 FC (Luton) entertain Old Bradwell United, in Reserve Division One AFC Dunstable Res are at home to Cockfosters Res and The 61 FC (Luton) Res are away to St Margaretsbury Res, while in Reserve Division Two Crawley Green Res host Buckingham Athletic Res and Totternhoe Res entertain Biggleswade United Res.

And on Tuesday night Barton go to promotion rivals Daventry Town.
