Blues’ reaction was almost immediate as Chris Marsh netted a minute later, but it was ruled out for offside.

Just before half time, Dunstable were level when a Danny Hutchins corner was robustly headed home by defender Danny Ryan for his first goal since rejoining the club.

In the second period, Chertsey were swiftly reduced to 10 men when Anson Cousins received a straight red card for violent conduct against Frater.

The visitors then opted to put everyone behind the ball to try and hold out for a point.

Lee Roache missed a sitter and had another shot saved by Garry Aulsberry, but Town had their winner when Adam Watkins set up Frater to slot home.
