Crawley were dominant throughout the entire game, but were made to wait until the 40th minute before Peter O’Donnell reacted quickest to Liam Toomey’s parried effort to give them the lead.

In the second half, the one way traffic continued as Green soon made it two when O’Donnell turned provider to pick out Taylor Rhiney, who had the simplest of finishes.

It was three by the 51st minute as the goal of the game came from the boot of Toomey, who neatly chipped Nigel Wharton after he had been caught out of the Stratford goal.

Sean Bishop rattled the post, and only a loss of footing denied Toomey his second after he rounded Wharton.

But Green were not to be denied a fourth goal, and when Josh Langlais was fouled in the box, Stuart Strange stepped up to round off an excellent day for his side.

On Saturday Crawley Green are in FA Cup action at Harefield United.
