Since taking over at Kenilworth Road, the Luton chief has brought in Alan Sheehan, Joe Pigott, Jonathan Mitchell and Glen Rea on temporary deals, while the likes of Mark O’Brien, Craig King, Matt Robinson and Mark Onyemah, have headed out.

When asked if would be looking to alter his squad before the deadline, Jones said: “I don’t envisage us doing much business, no-one in, no-one out.

“We’re happy with the squad we’ve got, we’re training at a level that I’m really, really comfortable with, so no.

“We could bring a number in for the sake of it, but we’d never, ever do that.

“Someone who comes in has to improve the 11 and I think we’re in a good place at the minute squad-wise.

“We’ve got real good competition, there’s a hunger in the squad, it’s really really superb and I’m not really looking to unsettle anyone.

“We have enough competition, have enough options, so I’m happy.”
