Hatters held to a draw in Hungary

Luton Town were held to a goalless draw in their pre-season friendly against Paksi FC out in Hungary this afternoon.

Hatters took on the local side who finished seventh in the Hungarian top-flight last term, at the Globall Football Park and SportHotel, at the end of a week-long training camp.

Boss Nathan Jones gave keeper Christian Walton his first taste of action, along with fellow summer signings Danny Hylton, Alan Sheehan and Glen Rea, with Johnny Mullins introduced in the second half.

A number of Luton’s first year pros were given run-outs too, including Frankie Musonda, James Justin, Tyreeq Bakinson and Alex Atkinson, with youth teamer Akin Famewo included too.

Town head back to England tomorrow and will start their domestic pre-season campaign at Bedford Town on Saturday.
