Hatters offer young duo pro contracts
Luton Town have offered U18s duo Liam Gooch and Alex Atkinson professional contracts at Kenilworth Road.
Goalkeeper Gooch, from Stotfold, joined the academy as an U15 and made a name for himself early on, by saving two penalties in a game against Northampton Town, while playing for the U18s in the FA Youth Cup run this term.
Atkinson is a midfielder from North Greenford, who had been with Wycombe Wanderers before moving to Luton as an U15 and is another who has played a big role in the cup run this term too.
The pair join Frankie Musonda, James Justin and Tyreeq Bakinson, who has all agreed pro deals this term, although defender Kyran McGhan-George won‘t be offered a permanent deal at the end of his scholarship.
