Mark Tyler: 6.5 - Kept alert with a few comfortable stops from Kevin Ellison and Paul Mullin, while always looked to distribute quickly to his defenders and get Luton on the attack.

Stephen O’Donnell: 6 - Can’t knock his willingness to get forward as he charged up and down the right hand side all evening. Not always quite on the same wavelength as McCourt when it mattered.

Jake Howells: 6 - Steady showing once more as he made good ground when in possession, although Morecambe did enjoy a modicum of success when they attacked down Town’s left.

Alan Sheehan: 6.5 - Kept things simple as always and stepped out from defence whenever possible. Got forward more during second half as well with Luton searching for the all-important opener.

Scott Cuthbert: 6 - Good battle with the experienced Ellison which bar one lapse in the first half when he was turned in the box, eventually came out on top.

Jonathan Smith: 6 - Recalled to the side in place of Lawless and got about the pitch with his usual energy and gusto throughout the 90 minutes.

Olly Lee: 6.5 - Saw plenty of the ball as ever and more often than not found his intended target. Defensive side of the game improving too as he won possession back for his side.

Cameron McGeehan: 6.5 - Never really had the chance to add to his 12 strikes this term, but was always wanting to get involved and trying to create a goalscoring opportunity for his side.

Paddy McCourt (STAR MAN): 7.5 - Has the ball on a string at times as he prodded away at the Shrimps defence in search of an opening. Set up Marriott’s winner and sublime vision carved apart Morecambe’s back-line on other occasions, but Town’s finishing touch was lacking.

Craig Mackail-Smith: 7 - Helped stretch the Morecambe defence and got Luton up the pitch, particularly in the second half. Great run to meet McCourt’s pass only for his finish to let him down.

Jack Marriott: 7 - Touch deserted him on a few occasions but never stops making the runs and it paid off with his cool finish for the winner. Pace and willingness to work the channels a real plus for Town, particularly at home.

Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu (SUB): 5 - On for stoppage time as Luton saw the game out.
