Hatters rated v Notts County
Stephen O’Donnell: 7.5 - Full back continued his impressive form of recent weeks. Solid in defence and managed to deliver some excellent crosses too as he burst forward whenever possible.
Jake Howells: 7 - Looks to be thoroughly enjoying the new way Hatters are being set up under Nathan Jones. Let a bit exposed for County’s opener. but always a threat when delivering a number of dangerous set-pieces.

Hide AdScott Cuthbert: 7 - Few ponderous moments up against Mcleod for the skipper but he kept him under control for the majority. Came up short in the race with Stead for the second though.
Alan Sheehan: 7.5 - Unfortunate with the own goal but once again looked hugely impressive in the centre of defence. Stepped out with the ball time and time again to get Town moving.
Alex Lawless: 7 - Booked in the opening moments and then another ticking off shortly after, so did well to get through the match unscathed after that.
Jonathan Smith: 6.5 - Full of effort as ever as he snapped into his challenges, but going the other way, his passing wasn’t every fully on song as number of moves broke down.

Hide AdPelly Ruddock Mpanzu (STAR MAN): 8 - Ever-willing for the Town as he caused County’s defence plenty of trouble. Calmer head when in front of goal could and should have led to an opening goal.
Cameron McGeehan: 7.5 - Involved in some wonderful link-up play with Mackail-Smith, Ruddock Mpanzu and McCourt as he relished his attacking role once more. Clean handball for Mackail-Smith’s disallowed goal.
Paddy McCourt: 7 - Some wonderful vision yet again from the Northern Irishman but couldn’t have quite the impact he might have liked as the game wore on.
Craig Mackail-Smith: 7.5 - Ran himself into the ground once more and almost brought the house down with his solo effort in the first period. Yet another goal chalked off again, though handball was clear. Offside issues

Hide AdJoe Pigott (SUB): 7 - Showed some really promising signs in his short stint on the field. Came desperately close when late effort was cleared off the line.
Olly Lee (SUB): 7 - Impressive cameo as he came on, looked comfortable on the ball and sprayed some delightful passes to either flank.
Paul Benson (SUB): 5.5 - Thrown on late on to add some height, but the game was pretty much gone by then.
