Hatters striker up for Player of the Season award

Luton Town striker Danny Hylton is in the running for the Sky Bet League Two Player of the Season award.

The 28-year-old has enjoyed his most prolific campaign to date, netting 24 goals in all competitions, including 19 in the league, since his summer move from Oxford United.

Hylton will battle it out with Doncaster duo John Marquis, who has scored 23 goals for the table-toppers, plus Rovers’ team-mate James Coppinger for the honour with the awards ceremony to take place in London on Sunday, April 9.
