High drama as Town lose out late on

DUNSTABLE Town Ladies lost an ill-tempered encounter with Stevenage Borough 2-1 in Division One of the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Women’s League at the weekend.

Samaria Khan and Dan Carty came close to breaking the deadlock in a goalless first half, but it was Town’s keeper Emma Fisher who was the busier of the two stoppers.

After the interval, Stevenage broke the deadlock as Dunstable failed to clear from a corner.
