The hosts led 1-0 through Stephen O’Donnell’s glorious long range strike after 26 minutes, the full back powering his 20-yard strike past Gloves keeper Artur Krysiak and into the net.

However, they were eventually pegged back with 13 minutes to go through Tom Eaves’ towering header from Kevin Dawson’s deep cross.

On the result, Hatters boss Nathan Jones said: “Yes, I’m disappointed with the goal (conceded) and I could be disappointed with the performance, but I have to have an air of realism as it’s just been a big week and I had to demand from them again.

“The Premier League started today and it’s our third game already, so I’m glad they stuck at it and glad with a point at the end as Yeovil were coming on strong and had a bit of momentum with them late on.

“Even though we had a couple of half chances, Jack (Marriott) had a great chance too, it’s a good point.”
