Hotshot Hassan is Rovers hero again

BARTON Rovers were held to a 2-2 draw by Beaconsfield SYCOB in their Zamaretto League Division One Central clash at Sharpenhoe Road at the weekend, writes Mike Simmonds.

Desi Ojuroke put Rovers 1-0 ahead with a drive from outside the box in the 13th minute, but as the half progressed, Dan Kennoy’s men found themselves 2-1 down.

Top scorer Bilal Hassan levelled the scores before the break with his fifth goal of the season, before Barton almost nicked it late on, only for Tommy Peverall to strike the post.
