Hylton in the running for PFA monthly award

Luton Town striker Danny Hylton is in the running to win the Sky Bet League Two PFA Fans' Player of the Month for February.

Hylton, who scored five goals in his six appearances during the month, face competition from Exeter’s David Wheeler and Notts County striker Jon Stead, plus Wycombe forward Adebayo Akinfenwa, Stevenage’s Matt Godden and Mansfield’s Shaquile Coulthirst.

The shortlist was chosen by a panel which included Sky Sports pundits Paul Merson and Peter Beagrie, Mike Riley - general manager of the Professional Game Match Officials, and Malcolm Clarke - chairman of the Football Supporters’ Federation.

Voting will close at 7pm tonight with the winner announced at 10am on Tuesday.
