Jones: We owe Hatters fans a performance
The Hatters chief is yet to witness a win on home soil, with his two victories coming away on the road, while he is determined to see a response after last weekend’s 4-1 hammering at AFC Wimbledon.
Jones said: “We have to give the fans a performance.
“I don’t like saying apologise to the fans as I think we’ve given them a positive start.

The Luton chief didn’t feel there was any extra pressure playing at Kenilworth Road either, despite Hatters recording a meagre three league wins from 15 games so far.
He continued: “We want to play at home, we love playing at home, there’s no pressure and we want to be brave.
“Bravery’s not just running through a brick wall, bravery is to play, to want it, to get on it, when people want to press you and take your livelihood away.

“I want a crowd that gets behind us, I want a crowd that’s happy and sees where we want to go.
“Because we’ll become a good side, how quickly, if we all chip in, we might get there quicker.”
Striker Jack Marriott echoed his manager’s view too that the players didn’t have a fear factor about going out in in front of their own fans.

“That’s something we need to turn around though and start getting some wins at home and then the away form to continue. We’ve not been bad away from home at all, but we need to be better than we were on Saturday.”
