Kennoy, who led the club to their best season in its 116-year history, will stay on as an advisor to the club as they prepare for another campaign in Calor Southern League Division One Central.

Chairman Darren Whiley said: “The management change is something that has been mulled over between myself and Dan over the past couple of months and I’d like to thank Dan for the success he has brought the club.”

Kennoy himself added: “It was a tough decision to make but ultimately I felt I’ve taken the club as far as I can without sacrificing more time away from home which simply wasn’t an option for me of my family.”

Fitness and sports conditioning coach Chris Wing has returned to work with the first team and development squad, with the pre curser of starting the Barton academy for the 2015/16 season.
