Lawless and Howells to find out their Luton futures
The pair both started yesterday’s 4-1 win over Exeter, excelling in their midfield roles during the 90 minutes as Luton brought the curtain down on their campaign in style.
Howells, who has played 334 times for the club and Lawless, with 203 games under his belt, have both publicly declared their intentions to stay at Kenilworth Road, but when asked if that would be the case, Jones said: “We’ll speak to those, I’ve got meetings with those on Tuesday and then we’ll have news on Tuesday.”

Hide AdThe Town boss also expects to confirm who is staying and going next week too as he finishes his meetings with the rest of his playing squad.
He added: “There’s a few that we’ve had conversations with, only two we haven’t had conversations with yet, so they all know.
“We’ll release that Tuesday, our retained list, who we’re looking to move forward with, who we’re not and we wish those that we’re not all the best.
“We’ve had too big a squad for too long a time and now we’re looking to reverse that and move forward.”
