Luton District & South Beds League round-up: Lewsey Park triumph in top-of-the-table clash

The Luton District & South Beds League Premier Division top-of-the-table clash between Lewsey Park and Farley Boys saw Park triumph 2-0 courtesy of a brace from Jono Barnett and a man of the match performance from keeper Mick Smith.

Markyate and Christians in Sport drew 2-2 and Four Model beat St Joseph’s 2-0 with goals from Bart Brzostowski and Andrzej Kruk and a MOM showing from Steven Pickard.

Markyate Res proved too strong for Farley Boys Res as they claimed a 4-2 victory in the group stages of the Division One Cup.

In Division One, North Sundon Wanderers picked up only their second point of the season with a 1-1 draw against LU Four, while Luton Leagrave Res drew 1-1 with Blue Lie Aces through a penalty from Josh Winstanley.

Meanwhile, F&E Rangers beat Square Rangers 5-0 thanks to a hat-trick from Garry Duncan and goals from James McCarthy and Michael Solomon.
