Luton Ladies net new record

LUTON Town Ladies reached a record fifth consecutive Beds FA County Cup final by beating Arlesey Town 2-1 at home.

Arlesey took the lead on four minutes but Town levelled when Nicola Henman flicked Rachel Spendalow’s free-kick home.

Jess McKay hit the bar for Town, but the winner arrived in the second half when Michelle Byrne beat two defenders to score. Luton keeper Randi Reynolds was never seriously tested and Hatters now face Bedford Ladies in the final.
