A happy Hatters Christmas

CARING Hatters stars visited the children’s ward at Luton & Dunstable Hospital on Friday to deliver some Christmas cheer.

Presents were dished out to the youngsters as the Town players got into the festive spirit.

Director Stephen Browne was delighted to see the club’s players interacting with the community.

He said: “It’s great for everybody and brings a smile to all the kids’ faces.

“All professional players know they have a bigger role than being on the pitch and have a role as a role model to play as well.

“For us it’s really important. It’s something we’ve always said we wanted to do since the day we went in.

“Just them going out there and seeing people at this time of year is great.

“It’s vital and complements what the rest of the staff are doing behind the scenes, going out and going into the schools.”
