All the odds as Hatters travel to Stevenage

Luton moved into the top half of League Two with an excellent 2-0 defeat of Oxford at Kenilworth Road at the weekend.

The Hatters made it four games unbeaten thanks to goals from Luke Wilkinson and Jake Howells but the foundation for Luton’s success has come at the other end of the pitch and keeper Mark Tyler enjoying a fourth consecutive clean sheet.

The upturn in fortunes has come despite missing personnel but manager John Still continues to chop and change the side for whatever opposition as the boss gets to grips with League Two.

BetVictor have cut the Hatters to 3/1 and 14/1 respectively for back-to-back promotions and back-to-back titles after being as big as 6/1 and 33/1 at the turn of the month.

The Hatters have crept into the top half for the first time since their opening day defeat of Carlisle but the fine rune has seen them cut to stay there with Town now odds-on for a top half finish; 2/5 with BetVictor and 7/4 to finish in the bottom dozen.

Luton make the short journey to the Lamex to face local-rivals Stevenage on Saturday and BetVictor make the hosts’ favourites; Boro 13/10, Luton 9/4 and the draw 12/5.

Stevenage beat Mansfield 3-0 at the weekend but have struggled with their consistency in front of goal; drawing a blank in two of their last six and losing three of their last five on home soil.

We tipped up Luton to win last week’s game to nil at 12/5 and there appears to be no reason why this bet should be deserted; 17/4 to win the game to nil and for a fourth game in five.

Luton are 5/2 with BetVictor to keep yet another clean sheet and 18/1 to win another game by the 2-0 correct score; does that look a shade big?

Crawley arrive at Kenilworth Road for Johnstone’s Paint Trophy action midweek with the Hatters 25/1 to lift the trophy aloft at Wembley in the spring and the Hatters can carry on their excellent form by sending the League One outfit crashing out at the second round stage.
