Antwi accident is just perfect
ACCIDENTAL signing Will Antwi is just delighted to be back playing again having earned himself a six-month contract at Kenilworth Road, writes Mark Wood.
With the likes of captain George Pilkington, Shane Blackett, Freddie Murray and Dan Gleeson still on the sidelines boss Gary Brabin admitted he had been forced to search for extra cover.
He said: “Will was probably a bit of an accident more than anything. We were OK and not looking for a centre-half. But George Pilkington (hip) is a bit further behind than we first thought and Will came in and played a few games and earned himself a contract.”
