Zane Banton can add that ‘something different’ to Luton Town according to new signing Alan Sheehan after the young striker agreed a new contract at Kenilworth Road recently.
The 20-year-old put pen to paper on a one year deal, with the option of a further 12 months should he continue to impress boss Nathan Jones.

When asked about the youngster’s undoubted talents, Sheehan said: “Zane Banton just got better and better and better, he’s another lad with a great attitude.
“Now that Paddy McCourt is gone, Zane has got that little bit of something different that he brings to the team, so I’m happy for him.”
Banton, who had been on the periphery under previous manager John Still, was handed his Football League debut by Jones in April and went on to make four appearances towards the end of the season.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Jones said: “Zane is a hard-working young player and he caught my eye in training as soon as I arrived.
“I have always said that young players have to earn their place in my squad and Zane did exactly that last season.
“I am very pleased he has signed up for next season. If he continues to progress at the rate he did at the end of last season then he will get more opportunities to become a regular player here at Luton Town.”
