Striker Paul Benson is looking forward to a potential reunion with ex-Town skipper Ronnie Henry on Saturday when Hatters travel to Stevenage.
The right back, who made 87 appearances for Luton, left Kenilworth Road in the summer after failing to agree a new deal and returned to the Lamex Stadium.
On meeting up with him again, Benson said: “I love Ron, I think he was a fantastic captain last year, everything you wanted from your skipper.
“I was disappointed to see him leave in the summer, but all the best to him.
“Obviously I don’t want him to come out on the winning team on Saturday, but I’ve got a lot of respect for Ron. I hope he has lots of success there, just not on Saturday.”
