Brabin won’t risk his stars for too long at Hitchin
CAREFUL Town will not risk playing any of their first teamers for too long when they visit Hitchin Town in their first pre-season game on Friday night, writes Mark Wood.
The match is likely to figure almost the entirety of Town’s fit first team squad, but manager Gary Brabin doesn’t want to suffer any setbacks.
He said: “It will be our first practice match so we need to be sensible.
“The first team lads will all be taking some part in the game.
“The one thing I don’t want to do is risk injury by playing them too long.”
