Luton boss Nathan Jones will be without full backs James Bree and Dan Potts once more for this weekend's home fixture against Wycombe Wanderers, although has confirmed midfielder Glen Rea is in contention once more.

Summer signing from Aston Villa Bree was injured in the 2-1 win over Derby County, after a block tackle on Rams winger Kamil Jozwiak, forcing him to miss the last two games with Manchester United and Watford.

Jones said: “He opened up his medial so it’s a tricky injury, it’s not a bad one but a tricky one.

"It's really sad though because he’s playing catch-up with us anyway and we had to integrate him, to do that just sets him back, so it just delays everything.

"It is what it is but that’s what happens when you can't get everyone in on day one.

"These things happen but that’s the nature of the beast.”

Meanwhile, Potts has been out even longer, not playing since the 1-1 draw at home to QPR last term, after sustaining a foot injury.

Jones continued: “He’s still a good looking fella but apart from that, not quite ready yet!

"He’s on the grass back training so he’ll be far closer when we come out of the international break, but probably a game too far for him at the minute.”

There was better news about Glen Rea though who came off in the match against Derby after complaining about feeling light headed.

He hasn’t featured since and Jones admitted they missed his presence in the 1-0 defeat to Watford on Saturday, adding: “If selected, Glen is available because protocols have now all been met which we had to do.”
