Brill completes move to Inverness

Hatters goalkeeper Dean Brill has signed for Scottish Premier League club Inverness Caledonian Thistle on a permanent deal.

The 27-year-old, who has made 12 appearances for the club, had originally joined on-loan until January.

But Thistle chairman Kenny Cameron told the club’s official website: “Discussions with Dean and Luton have been ongoing but they have now been brought to a highly satisfactory conclusion.

“Luton have cancelled the remainder of his two-year contract which was due to expire next summer.

“That has cleared the way for us to reach agreement with Dean and I am extremely pleased that he has signed a two and a half year contract with us.

Brill, who played 109 times for Town over two spells, added: “Coming to Inverness has turned out a great move for me. I enjoy living here and there is a great dressing room solidarity.”

A statement on the Hatters’ official Twitter page said: “The Town can confirm the mutual termination of goalkeeper Dean Brill’s contract. The stopper will joined Inverness on a two-year contract.”
