Norwich City will be without 15 players for their Carabao Cup first round clash at Luton Town on September 5 after Danel Sinani was called up for international duty by Luxembourg for their upcoming UEFA Nations League double header.

The 23-year-old joined the Canaries on a free transfer from his home country in the summer after spending three years with F91 Dudelange and has won 21 caps, scoring three goals.

He joins 14 other absentees that will miss Norwich's trip to Kenilworth Road a week on Saturday, leaving manager Daniel Farke with some real selection issues for the club's first competitive match since their relegation from the Premier League.

Quartet Ben Godfrey, Todd Cantwell, Oliver Skipp and Max Aarons have all been included in the England’s U21s squad.

Meanwhile, Tim Krul (Holland), Michael McGovern (Northern Ireland), Kenny McLean (Scotland), Jamal Lewis (Northern Ireland), Przemyslaw Placheta (Poland U21s), Adam Idah (Republic of Ireland) and Jacob Sorensen (Denmark U21s) will also miss the fixture.

Josip Drmic and Emi Buendia serve the second of their three match suspensions following red cards against Burnley last term, while defender Sam Byram is injured.

Luton will be without just one player, club record signing Simon Sluga, who has been called up by Croatia.
