Charlton await winners of Luton and Corby

Trip to the Valley the prize for Hatters

LUTON Town will face a trip to League One side Charlton Athletic should they see off Blue Square Bet North opponents Corby Town in their FA Cup first round replay at Kenilworth Road tonight.

Charlton defeated Barnet 1-0 on Tuesday night under the watchful eyes of Town boss Richard Money with Kyel Reid grabbing the only goal on 18 minutes.

The Bees, who included on-loan Hatters striker Kevin Gallen, battled bravely, but were denied by an excellent display from Addicks keeper Rob Elliott.

Charlton manager Phil Parkinson, who will be in the crowd at the Kenny tonight on a scouting brief, said: “I’ll go and look at Luton and Corby.

“It will be a tough game again. The supporters will come and fold their arms and expect it to be three or four nil but anyone who’s watched a lot of football over the years will tell you these games aren’t easy. Dividing lines are a lot tighter than people think.”
