Town midfielder Jordan Clark might not feature again this season for the Hatters after suffering an ankle injury in the 3-2 win at Bristol City recently.

The 27-year-old has had an impressive first campaign at Kenilworth Road after joining from Accrington Stanley in the summer, playing 39 times and scoring three goals.

Clark's versatility has seen him perform a number of roles for Luton even filling in as an emergency left back in recent times, but it was in midfield where boss Nathan Jones felt he was missed during the 1-1 draw against Middlesbrough at the weekend.

On his absence, the Town manager said: “He’s rolled his ankle in the first half at Bristol and did really well to continue for as long as he did, but it’s not a time to risk him now with that.

"He's had a fantastic season, it’s a shame he missed today as I really fancied it for him with them going man for man in midfield, with his mobility and how he goes about things.

"I really fancied it today, but it’s just one of those things."
