Hatters midfielder Jordan Clark earned some high praise from boss Nathan Jones for his display against Norwich City in midweek.

The summer signing from Accrington was making only his fourth league start of the season and a first since the 3-0 defeat against Brentford in late October, named as one of five changes to the team who were hammered 4-0 in Cardiff.

Restored to the right hand side, Clark gave an excellent performance, particularly first half, setting up a great chance for Luke Berry and then winning the free kick for Matty Pearson to make it 2-1, completing just a second 90 minutes in the Championship.

Jones said: “He’s been like that every day in training and because of Harry (Cornick) and what he does and what he gives us, sometimes Jordan misses out.

“But I thought Jordan was as complete a performance as I've seen from a wideman since I've been here.”
