Town duo Harry Cornick and Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu were the big winners at the Luton Town Supporters' Trust Virtual Player of the Season Presentation held last night.

Due to the restraints of Covid-19, the Trust celebrated the club's Great Escape last term with their traditional end of season ceremony taking place online.

Cornick landed four awards on a successful evening for the attacker, winning the Goal of the Season for his stunning effort at Leeds United, the Bobbers Travel Away Player of the Season, Junior Supporters’ Player of the Season and the Players’ Player of the Season trophies.

Mpanzu went on to win three trophies himself, landing the LTST Player of the Season, as well as retaining the Ian Pearce Memorial Trophy and also scooping the Internet Player of the Season.

Sam Beckwith was voted the Young Player of the Season, chosen by the coaching staff, after a campaign where he penned a development contract with the club, resulting in him featuring in some of the first team pre-season friendlies.

The teenager tweeted afterwards: "Buzzing to win this award! Time to keep working hard."
