Crawley give up on Drury
CRAWLEY Town boss Steve Evans has given up on his pursuit of Ipswich midfielder, and Luton Town target, Andy Drury.
Drury, 28, spent a successful three-month loan spell at the Broadfield Stadium, but has since secured a starting role with the Championship side.
Evans said: “The reality is despite how much I wanted him, the clubs could not agree on a transfer fee.
“I also think maybe his wages could have been a problem because it should not be forgotten they were heavily subsidised by Ipswich when he was on loan with us.”
