Cullen, who bagged his 12th goal of the season during this afternoon’s 1-0 win over Carlisle, admitted he he hadn’t been made aware that there had been any clubs looking to sign him either.

Speaking to the press, the forward, who signed a three year deal in the summer, said: “No not at all, they don’t have to tell me if they don’t think the bid is acceptable.

“So its got nothing to do with me until the gaffer pulls me into his office and says this has happened.

“I didn’t hear any word of it, so I just cracked on in training and was trying to get back into the team.

“I signed a three year contract in the summer and if the club has a bid they think is acceptable that’s down to them, but I’m not trying to leave no.”
