Date set for Hatters new home shirt

Luton Town’s striking new home kit is set to be released on Tuesday.

The retro kit, sported for the first time in the play-off final defeat to AFC Wimbledon last month and modelled on the successful strip worn by the Hatters in the mid-70s, will be available in the club shop from next week.

Managing director Gary Sweet said: “We will be releasing the new home kit on July 5.

“Anyone going abroad in July can grab a Luton shirt and wear it about, while the away kit will be some time after that.”

Shirts go on sale from 10am at the club shop, priced at £34.99 for adult sizes and £24.99 for youth sizes and online orders can be taken from 9am.
