The 18-year-old is capable of playing on the left flank or through the middle, joined Spurs in July 2012 and made six appearances for their U18s in 2012/13, scoring in his first three matches.

The powerful attacker then netted 10 times for the club’s youth team last term, missing just four of Spurs’ 24 matches and also made three appearances for the London club’s under-21 side.

This campaign, Oduwa has scored twice and set-up four further goals in 14 matches for the U21s, including a strike against Manchester United in the U21 Premier League.

Town boss John Still told the club’s official website: “Nathan is very highly thought of at Tottenham and we are thrilled to have him on board for the rest of the season.

“Nathan is strong, powerful, skilful and has pace to burn. He’s the kind of player who gets supporters off their seats.”
