Drury to discuss his Luton future

Out of favour Hatters midfielder Andy Drury faces an uncertain future at Kenilworth Road.

The 31-year-old, who was signed for £100,000 in the summer, has made 39 appearances, but hasn’t featured since the 2-1 defeat at Northampton over a month ago.

Although Drury has another year left on his contract, Still admitted he would talking to to the former Crawley player along with other members of the squad.

The boss said: “He’s injured at the moment, but we did leave him out.

“We’ve spoken. He feels that he hasn’t done as well as he could do and that’s probably about right.

“All of the people that are out of contract and people that are in contract that we feel might want to talk to us as well, a two way conversation about their futures, we will do, and he’ll be one of them.”

That leaves Luton with 13 players out of contract now, including the likes of Alex Wall, Shaun Whalley, Jim Stevenson and Fraser Franks, while Jonathan Smith have been offered a new deal.
