Ed hopes to impress in Trophy campaign
PROGRESSING in the FA Trophy offers Town’s fringe players a real chance to press home their claims for a starting place according to fit-again full-back Ed Asafu-Adjaye,writes Mark Wood.
The 23-year-old Luton youth product admitted Saturday’s FA Trophy second round postponement at Hinckley United was a real disappointment, but he hopes to be able to strut his stuff at the Greene King Stadium this evening.
He said: “It’s very frustrating we couldn’t get the game on on Saturday. I know a few of the boys including myself were looking forward to getting an opportunity to play.”
