HATTERS: Ben Ekins has been handed a trial for Luton Town’s youth team after impressing in Bedford Town’s 1-0 friendly win at the Eyrie.

Development coach Paul Driver said: “Ben is on trial with us with a view to getting into the youth team. He played at Ipswich and then against Crawley Green on Saturday. He is training for a couple of days this week and playing at Reading on Wednesday.”
