Fitzsimons snapped up by Dartford
Former Luton Town defender Danny Fitzsimons has signed for National League South side Dartford.
The 23-year-old never actually made a first team appearance at Kenilworth Road after suffering a serious cruciate injury soon after moving to Luton from Histon.
Fitzsimons was released by Town at the end of the season after a breach of club discpline, but a statement from Darts boss Tony Burman on the club’s official website, said: “Danny is a talented left-back, which is a position that I needed to fill.
“I am delighted that he has put pen to paper today, as he can now join up with the rest of the squad, for their first pre-season training session this Thursday.”
