Hatters facing second postponement in a week

LUTON Town’s game at Forest Green Rovers is in doubt on Saturday because of the freezing conditions.

The pitch at The New Lawn will be inspected on Thursday morning to see if the game can go ahead. The covers have been on since Rovers’ 2-2 draw against Rushden on Saturday.

Friday is expected to be especially cold, but Rovers are likely to be keen to get the game on as they will be expecting one of their biggest gates of the season.

Town have been allocated 455 seats and 1,300 standing spaces for Saturday’s game.

The match is pay on the day only for Town supporters with seating £15 for adults, £10 for concessions and £2 for U16s, with terracing £13, £10 and £2.
