Former Hatter Micky Brown passes away
Former Luton Town promotion-winner Micky Brown has sadly died at the age of 76, the club announced this week.
The forward was part of the Hatters' highly successful squad that won the championship of Division Four (now League Two) in 1967-68, as a statement on the club's official website said: "Slough born Micky joined Fulham from school but played only a handful of games in the Cottagers top flight side in four years so moved on to Millwall in 1965 where he was a regular in the team which won promotion from Division Three (now League One) a year later.

"A short, solid forward, Micky played in four different positions in his first five games for the club but was unable to stake a permanent place in the side that won the Division Four championship.
"Following promotion, Micky left Kenilworth Road in October 1968, after 17 first team appearances and two goals, to join Colchester United.
"After a year at Layer Road, Micky played for several non-league clubs, including a successful spell at Wealdstone, before settling in Harrow where he became a newsagent and subsequently retiring to Spain.
"Our condolences go out to all his family and friends."
