Luton’s on-loan Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall will be available to face Premier League side Chelsea in the FA Cup this weekend, should boss Nathan Jones select him for the tie.

The 23-year-old had been kept out of Town’s third round win over Reading earlier this month on the orders of the Foxes, but after manager Brendan Rodgers confirmed he was staying at Kenilworth Road for the season, the green light has been now been given.

Boss Nathan Jones said: “I don’t want to give anything away but we’ve had permission if we want to select him then he can play.

“We’re not got anything more (injury-wise) from the other day, Martin Cranie’s closer so he’s in with a shout now.”

Although Jones made nine changes for the 1-0 victory over the Royals in the previous round, when asked if he would selected his strongest side for the trip to Stamford Bridge on Sunday, the game broadcast live on the BBC, he added: “What I can promise you is we’ll treat the competition with respect, whatever team we put out.

“We played Wednesday, then five days later we go up against Blackburn, so we have to think about that, but we will pay the competition the ultimate respect.

“It’s not an ordinary one, one we would like to be a regular occurrence, but at this point it’s a very special game for us.”
