Town’s on-loan midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is expecting to remain at Kenilworth Road for the rest of the season.

The 22-year-old has been in superb form for the Hatters since arriving from Premier League Leicester City in October, playing 15 times and scoring once.

His regular starring roles have led to some fans voicing their concerns that the player might be recalled by his parent club during January, although with Brendan Rodgers’ side flying high, sitting third in the top flight, just one point off the top, that would seem unlikely.

Dewsbury-Hall, who bagged the winner during Town’s 2-1 win against Bristol City last Tuesday evening, is certainly anticipating to be staying put too as when asked if was looking forward to the rest of the campaign with the Hatters, he said: “Of course, we’re not even half-way through yet, there’s a lot of games to be played and I’m really excited.

“Hopefully it’s going to be a successful season for us, so I can’t wait.”
