Franks named in England C squad

Hatters defender Fraser Franks has been named in the England C squad for their International Challenge Trophy Group A match with Slovakia U23s in Poprad later this month.

Three Lions boss Paul Fairclough has picked an 18 man squad for the match on Saturday, May 24, with the team also playing a friendly against Hungary at the Szusza Ferenc Stadium in Budapest four days later.

There are four new faces in the squad, with Barnet defender Andy Yiadom, FC Halifax Town’s Marc Roberts and Gateshead pair Marcus Maddison and James Marwood included, although Hatters striker Andre Gray has not been selected.
