Franks ready for crucial part of campaign
Luton head to fellow promotion rivals Burton Albion this afternoon, as Franks said: “The manager (John Still) said it’s an important stage leading up to Christmas.
“We need to stay in the pack and try to push away from a few teams below us. We’ll take ugly 1-0 wins to keep us up at the top.” Franks was back in the team against Tranmere on Saturday and hopes to keep his place at the Pirelli, adding: “I’m a player that always wants to be playing. I don’t want to be a squad player or a player who stays on the bench or in the stands.
“I want to be out there and I felt back part of it (against Tranmere) and hopefully that continues.”
