Gnakpa: Good times are coming back to the Hatters

Winger believes Town are on the up

THE good times are on their way back to Kenilworth Road according to flying winger Claude Gnakpa, writes Mike Simmonds.

There has been precious little for Hatters fans to cheer about on the pitch in recent seasons, as barring the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy final victory over Scunthorpe United, successive relegations have seen them drop out of the Football League.

But Gnakpa, who recently made his 100th appearance for the club, believes the wheel is starting to turn and that his side showed in Saturday’s 2-2 FA Cup draw with Charlton Athletic they can handle the higher echelons of the Football League.

He said: “I feel like, wow, Luton Town is becoming the Luton Town that everyone is hoping for.”
